Who killed the citizen? In response to the journalist's question, a representative of the Police Public Relations and Information Department stated: "During negotiations with the armed individual who had invaded the Masis City Hall, gunshots were heard. Officers from the police special forces, led by the first deputy chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, Aram Hovhannisyan, entered and discovered the body of 36-year-old Edward Margaryan with a gunshot wound to the head. He died by suicide. There are no casualties or injuries among the police officers," said the police representative.

It is worth noting that the police had already issued a statement indicating that the citizen had taken his own life.
