Who is the Armed Individual That Stormed the Masis City Hall and Threatens to Blow It Up

As we previously reported, more than an hour ago, an emergency situation has developed in the Ararat region. A man, armed with explosives, has entered the Masis City Hall and is threatening to blow it up. According to our information, the man is from the city of Masis and has previously been a member of the city council. Sources also indicate that he is in an inadequate state.

Currently, negotiations are being conducted with this individual by the Deputy Chief of Police of Armenia, Major General Aram Hovhannisyan, and the Head of the Criminal Police Department of the Police of Armenia, Colonel Vardan Vardanyan.

The main road traffic to the Masis City Hall has been temporarily halted. The reasons behind the man’s drastic actions are being clarified.
