VIDEO: Why Did a 73-Year-Old Man Kill His Wife and Then Commit Suicide? The Police Provide Details

On August 18, at 7:30 AM, a 73-year-old resident of Nor Geghi village in the Kotayk region called the police operational management center and reported that he had killed his wife about 30 minutes earlier. He also mentioned that he was near the village's bridge and was preparing to jump off.

The dispatched operational group discovered that the 73-year-old man had inflicted multiple stab wounds on his 71-year-old wife with a kitchen knife, killing her before committing suicide by jumping off the bridge in Nor Geghi village.

A criminal investigation has been initiated by the investigative division of Nairi.
