Video: Explosion at Surmalu Occurred with Fire Eruption, Injuries Reported

An explosion has occurred at Surmalu. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that six fire-fighting teams, an aerial ladder, and operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center have been dispatched to the scene as part of a Level 2 fire complexity alert. Additionally, rescue teams from the Special Rescue Operations Center and the Psychosocial Support Unit have also been involved.

According to preliminary information, the explosion was accompanied by a fire outbreak, and there are reported injuries. A Level 3 fire complexity alert has been declared, leading to the dispatch of two more fire-fighting teams from Yerevan’s Rescue Department to the site.
