Video: 225 kg of Gold Seized from Armenians and Russians at Vnukovo Airport
At Vnukovo Airport, customs officials have halted an attempt to export 225 kg of gold worth around 800 million rubles, according to the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Six couriers, who are citizens of Russia and Armenia, tried to take 45 gold bars abroad. The foreign nationals have been detained while the Russian citizens are under house arrest. Three criminal cases have been initiated.
