Today I Join All Armenians: Charles Michel

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, expressed his condolences in connection with the tragedy at Surmalu.

"Today I join all Armenians who are mourning the victims of the tragic explosion at the Surmalu shopping center," wrote Michel on his Twitter microblog.

He wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.

It should be noted that an explosion occurred at the Surmalu shopping center on August 14 at approximately 13:23. A total of 62 citizens sought medical attention at hospitals in Yerevan, of which 4 are still receiving treatment, while the others have been released after receiving appropriate medical care. Currently, it is known that 16 people have died, and 2 people are still missing.
