Bomb Threat Received at Shirak Airport and Gyumri Railway Station

On August 17, a letter was received at the Ministry of Emergency Situations' electronic address stating that a bomb has been placed at Shirak Airport and the Gyumri railway station. This was announced in a conversation with News.am by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hayk Kostanyan.

“There have been evacuations at the airport and the station, and bomb disposal operations are currently underway. No departures or arrivals are scheduled at Shirak Airport today and tomorrow,” Kostanyan noted.
