Body of Inmate Discovered in Nubarashen

On August 16, 2022, at approximately 03:15, the body of an inmate, born in 1989 and accused under Article 178, part 3, point 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, was found hanging from the bars of a window in the Nubarashen penitentiary.

According to the Penitentiary Service, materials are being prepared at the Investigative Division of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia for the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts regarding the incident.
