55-Year-Old Anahit Mkrtchyan Killed in Explosion Worked at Surmalu

Anahit Mkrtchyan, a 55-year-old woman who was killed in an explosion at the Surmalu shopping center, was employed at the venue. According to News.am sources, her shop was located close to the explosion site where she died on the spot.

Anahit was married and had two children.

It is worth noting that the explosion at the Surmalu shopping center occurred on August 14, and as of August 17 at 10:00, there have been 16 confirmed fatalities. The identities of 15 of the deceased have been established, while two individuals are still missing. Additionally, 61 citizens were injured in the explosion, and as of now, seven citizens are receiving treatment in hospitals. Their health conditions are reported to be stable.
