In the section of the building that remains standing at the Surmalu shopping center, ventilation work has been carried out and is ongoing; there is no risk of explosion, but there is a potential danger of smoldering hotspots. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations David Hambaryan during a conversation with journalists at the scene.

It is worth recalling that an explosion occurred at the Surmalu shopping center on August 14 at approximately 1:23 PM. Sixty citizens have sought medical assistance from hospitals in Yerevan, seven of whom continue to receive treatment, while the others have been discharged after receiving appropriate medical care.
