You Should See What Titanic Work This Guy in the Picture Did
Haratun Mnatsakanyan writes on his Facebook page: Since there has been more talk in the entire virtual space and media about the violist, the fireworks, the concert, and those who were performing during it, projecting the entire nation as their own, I am forced, out of necessity, to speak about the other pole, the positive side of this nightmare. Just look at how many volunteers have come since yesterday and what kind of work they are doing.
This guy in the picture, whom I do not know and don’t know who he is, you should see what titanic work he has done—how he helped lift heavy panels onto trucks without gloves or any other tools, how he was picking up 40-50 kg stones and throwing them into the vans. Discovering vehicles under the stones, he quickly cleared the area, trying to see whether anyone was trapped inside or not. Your faith in the future would increase several times if you knew this.
And finally, something else added to all this when I overheard phone conversations. I don't remember if it was the guy in the picture or some other volunteer, but one had a child in the morning and came here to do search work instead of celebrating with champagne; my heart was filled, I was watching them in awe.
I also saw one of our actors working with his head down among the volunteers. His name is Gevorg, I think, and he had an ACAB tattoo on his face. I say it is true; on one hand, we have those who are fooling around in this situation, and on the other hand, we have caring people like these guys, good individuals.
I would really like this guy to receive at least one letter of thanks at the state level, and if I remember correctly, if he had a child yesterday, I am sure his child will have many reasons to be proud of his father in the future. That’s it.
