Emergency Situations Ministry Addresses False Alerts

The Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with the canine and bomb disposal units of the police, conducted inspections at all significant facilities in Yerevan's metro stations, shopping centers, the zoo, the address of Baghramyan 19, and the St. Gregory the Illuminator Church. As a result of these inspections, no explosive devices were discovered, and normal operations of the metro have been restored. This information was reported by the Emergency Situations Ministry.

It is worth recalling that on August 14, at 16:46, the National Crisis Management Center received another report that explosive devices had been planted at all metro stations, significant military and civilian establishments, shopping centers, the zoo, Baghramyan 19 (National Assembly), and St. Gregory the Illuminator Church.

Specialized rescue units from the Emergency Situations Ministry were dispatched to the scene, including canine teams and civil protection forces. Evacuation operations were carried out to ensure public safety.
