The Warehouse That Exploded Today at the 'Surmalu' Center Was Recently Penalized

Yerevan City Council member Levon Zakaryan writes: "The recently exploded warehouse, supervised by the State Inspection Body for Urban Development, Fire Safety, and Technical Security, had been fined and had received an order to rectify violations."

Recall that on August 14, at 13:23, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of an explosion at the 'Surmalu' shopping center. The explosion occurred in a warehouse intended for fireworks. As of now, there is 1 fatality and 20 injuries.
