Body of a Man Discovered in Spa: What Happened
A man's body was discovered at the "Arzni" spa complex owned by former Deputy Police Chief, Lieutenant General Ararat Mahatseyann.
According to Shamshyan.com, the general personally contacted the police and reported that he had found a man's body sitting on a couch in one of the spa's rooms. Police and investigators determined that the deceased was 67-year-old Gagik Harutyunyan, a resident of Yerevan.
At the scene, A. Mahatseyann informed the police and investigators that on that day, 4-5 of the deceased's relatives had arrived at the spa and began to threaten everyone with loud, curse-filled shouts, insulted the staff and guests, hurled abuses at anyone who made a comment, and physically assaulted the doors and walls on the third floor with their fists, using both vague and directed insults.
Police and investigators found that these individuals were the sons and brother of the deceased G. Harutyunyan.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Nairi Investigative Division regarding the incident.
