VIDEO: "The bridge appears for a moment, then disappears behind the trees": Pashinyan believes trees should be cut down and planted elsewhere

While traveling on the road from Stepanavan to Odzun, I noticed an old bridge that is visible for a moment while driving, then disappears behind the trees. I thought that the trees should be cut down and replanted elsewhere. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during today's Government session.

“Recently, I was passing through that road and noticed that there is quite an old bridge. While driving, that bridge appears for a moment, and the next moment it goes behind the trees. At that time, I thought this is a case where we shouldn’t hold back, and the trees should be cut down; afterward, we should plant twice or thrice as many trees elsewhere and bring that bridge in order, implement lighting, because it is an architectural monument,” said Nikol Pashinyan.

In response, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan promised to address this issue. He also mentioned that there is an old bridge on the Itzakar-Gandzakar road segment, which is a monument. Thus, it has been decided to construct a new traversable bridge and to preserve the old bridge as a monument.
