Representatives of the Human Rights Defender Visit Servicemen Injured by Azerbaijani Gunfire
Representatives of the Human Rights Defender's Office visited a military hospital and met with servicemen who were injured by gunfire from the Azerbaijani armed forces on August 3, 2022, and were transferred to Yerevan for further treatment. This information was published on the Human Rights Defender's Facebook page.
“During the visit, private conversations were held. The health status of the servicemen was discussed with the hospital medical staff. It was revealed that the servicemen sustained various injuries (to the face, thigh, chest, etc.); the condition of seven out of nine servicemen was assessed as satisfactory by doctors, one as moderate, and another as severely stable,” the statement said.
It is worth recalling that on August 3, it became known that Azerbaijani units targeted the combat positions of the Artsakh Defense Army and the permanent deployment location of one of the military units, using firearms of various calibers, mortars, grenade launchers, and strike UAVs. The Armenian side reported 2 fatalities and 19 injuries.
