Urgent: Two Soldiers Wounded in Artsakh, Condition Described as Serious

The Artsakh Defense Army reports that as of 12:00 PM on August 9, the operational situation along the contact line has remained relatively stable despite ongoing tensions. In some areas, Azerbaijani military units have again violated the truce by using small arms of various calibers. Efforts continue, in cooperation with Russian peacekeeping forces, to stabilize the situation further.

On August 8, two contract soldiers of the Defense Army, Gurgen Alyosha Danielyan and Arthur Yuriki Arushanyan, sustained injuries due to violations of weapon usage rules and safety regulations. Their condition is assessed as serious. An investigation is underway to clarify the details of the incident.
