Overhead Pedestrian Crossing at Bagratunians Street-Artashisyan Street Junction to Be Demolished
Due to the demolition works of the overhead pedestrian crossing at the Bagratunians Street-Artashisyan Street junction, one lane adjacent to the crossing on Bagratunians Street will be closed in phases for one month. This was announced by the Yerevan Municipality.
In the first phase of the process, the first lane heading towards Lake Yerevan will be closed. Traffic flow will be ensured through the second and third lanes. Subsequently, if the second lane is closed, traffic will be conducted through the first and third lanes, and if the third lane is closed, the first and second lanes will remain open for traffic.
Following the same principle, during the demolition of the overhead crossing, the opposite road (one lane coming from Lake Yerevan towards Bagratunians Street) will also be closed.
The pedestrian crossing from one sidewalk of Bagratunians Street to the other will be temporarily relocated to the adjacent part of Bagratunians Street-Chekhov Street until the completion of the works.
We apologize for any temporary inconvenience caused.
