Never Trust Demagogues, Loudmouths, and Random People: Artsakh Foreign Minister
The Foreign Minister of Artsakh, Davit Babayan, wrote on his Facebook page:
“The world has entered an era of naked geopolitics, where, unfortunately, norms, principles, and morality have been pushed to the background. Therefore, when we talk about the aspirations, dreams, and wishes of our people, it is quite clear that desires, demands, and opinions based on international law, human rights, and freedoms are, sadly, only acknowledged at best.
We are now facing threats of a existential nature, and for this, cold-headedness, professionalism, patriotism, proper organization of labor, patience, and endless work capacity are necessary. It is very important to stay as far away from demagogues, provocateurs, and fake patriots as possible, who 'bite the enemies' throats on social media and in debates.' All of this is the guarantee of the salvation of the people and the state in the current conditions.
Dear compatriots, never lose faith and self-control, never. Never trust demagogues, loudmouths, and random people. The loud and shouting individuals are never true patriots, understand that once and for all. Here are the key components to overcoming difficulties, through which it is possible to save the country even in the most challenging periods of history. If we think correctly and realize that our strength lies in wisdom, honesty, and decency, then we can achieve the minimum program: the salvation of Artsakh.”
