Man Attacks Cash Courier Outside Bank in Yerevan, Bag Tears and Money Spills

On August 11, a robbery occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:30 AM, the Yerevan city police received a call reporting that a man wearing a hat and a medical mask had committed a robbery outside the "Hayekonombank" branch on Sebastia Street.

According to information from the scene provided by shamshyan.com, at approximately 11:30 AM, the driver of a Volkswagen car arrived at the "Hayekonombank" branch with 7.8 million drams. After exiting the vehicle, he attempted to approach the bank branch when a man with a hat and medical mask attacked him and tried to steal the money. At that moment, the bag tore open, and all the money spilled out, prompting the assailant to flee the scene.
