Construction of Alternative Route of Lachin Corridor's Armenian Segment Begins

The construction of the Armenian segment of the alternative route of the Lachin Corridor has begun, as reported by News. Three contracting companies are simultaneously engaged in the construction.

For the past six days, earthworks have been underway. The road will pass over a newly constructed bridge across the Agavn River up to the village of Kornidzor.

Meanwhile, after August 25, the connection between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh will be ensured via a frontline road. The total length of the new road will be 11.8 km.

The construction work is expected to be completed by next spring.
