Video: Huge queue for firewood in Moldova as people sleep in fields

A massive queue for firewood has formed in Moldova. This was reported by the Belarusian service of Mir. People have spent several days in the fields, sleeping near the fence.

In the Ivanca village of the Orhei region, about 300 people have been standing in line for discounted firewood for several days. However, only the first 60 have had their luck. To ensure they don’t lose their place in line, they have slept near the fence.

Earlier, Moldovagaz announced that Moldova would be unable to make a prepayment to Gazprom in August due to a shortage of funds.
