Parents of Fallen Soldiers Hold Protest Outside Ministry of Defense

Today, on August 10, a protest is being held in front of the Ministry of Defense by parents of soldiers killed in the 44-day war. According to News.am, they are demanding a meeting with Pavlik Kyaramyan, commander of the 4th battalion of the 5th defensive region in Martakert, whom they accuse of being responsible for the deaths of their sons.

The parents are outraged by the fact that Pavlik Kyaramyan has been awarded the "Combat Cross" of the first degree. It is worth reminding that parents of soldiers killed in action also held a protest in front of the Ministry of Defense on July 29 with the same demands. At that time, the Ministry assured that they would respond within three days regarding the investigation into Pavlik Kyaramyan. However, the three-day period has expired, and the Ministry has yet to provide any answers.

It should be noted that 37 soldiers from the 4th battalion of the 5th defensive region in Martakert lost their lives, with more than half being buried a year after the war.
