Evraz, one of the world's largest steel producers, has announced its intention to sell its assets in North America, according to the company's statement.

As reported by RTVI, Evraz and its co-owner Roman Abramovich have been under British sanctions since March. It is noted that the company is registered in the United Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, the UK had imposed sanctions against the mining and metallurgical company Evraz.
