The main reason for the explosion at Crimea's "Saki" airport is considered to be a violation of fire safety regulations. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing a source from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"There are no signs, evidence, or even more so, facts that there was deliberate interference with munitions for the purpose of detonation," the source stated.

Konstantin Skorupskin, the head of the Crimea's Ministry of Health, reported that one person died from the explosions and that six others were injured, including one child.
