Raffi Hovhannisyan, the leader of the Heritage Party, shared a noteworthy incident during a conversation with journalists today, August 9.

According to him, a few days ago he took a taxi, and the driver was of Azerbaijani descent.

The taxi driver had a traditionally Armenian name and stated that there are many Azerbaijanis in Armenia. He began to discuss the political situation, expressing opinions about the ownership of Artsakh, claiming that both Armenians and Azerbaijanis have lived there.

As they continued to ascend towards Norq, the driver drew parallel comparisons, alleging that Armenians had behaved like fascists. He stated that Aliyev is similar to Stalin, who punished German fascists. When Hovhannisyan was about to exit the car, the driver greeted him with a "salam", making it clear that he was an Azerbaijani living in Armenia.
