Parents and Relatives of Shiraz Captives Spend Night in Front of Government
Parents and relatives of Shiraz captives spent the night in front of the government, demanding a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. They recently reached an agreement with a representative from the Prime Minister's office to end their sit-in.
“They promised to call us tomorrow and inform us about the day and time of the meeting with the Prime Minister. At this moment, we are returning to Shirak Province,” a relative of one of the captives told news.am.
It is noteworthy that the relatives of the Shiraz captives began their sit-in early yesterday morning, demanding a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Yesterday, they heard from the Prime Minister's office regarding their demands; however, they were not informed throughout the day whether the meeting would take place. The relatives continued their sit-in and spent the night in front of the Government building. By morning, the Prime Minister's office promised the relatives a meeting with the Prime Minister, and they ended their sit-in.
