Intestinal Bacteria Found in Yogurt and Sour Cream in Gndevaz

The inspection body of Armenia’s food safety agency has discovered intestinal bacteria in yogurt and sour cream produced in Vayots Dzor.

According to the agency, the dairy production facility, where inspectors conducted checks and collected samples, is located in the Gndevaz community of Vayots Dzor and is owned by individual entrepreneur Henry Harutyunyan.

“The test results showed that the samples of yogurt and sour cream did not meet the standards set by the Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union on the Safety of Milk and Dairy Products for intestinal bacteria group indicators,” stated the message distributed by the food safety agency.

The production of yogurt and sour cream at the indicated facility has been suspended until the producer takes necessary measures to ensure compliance with the standards established by legal acts.
