Truck Catches Fire in Vayq, Containing Nitric Acid Containers

On August 8, at 3:53 PM, a call was received at the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center reporting that a truck was on fire near the 'Leader Complex' supermarket in Vayq city.

Two fire-rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 4:15 PM and extinguished by 4:30 PM. The driver's cabin was partially burned, as well as the cover of the cargo area (5 square meters), and three 20-liter containers of nitric acid.
