The US Creates Crises and Then Blames Others: Who Is Beijing Blaming?

The United States creates crises and then attempts to justify its mistakes and actions by distorting facts and shifting responsibility onto others, Beijing strongly opposes this. This was stated by Wu Qian, spokesman for China's Ministry of Defense, according to RIA Novosti.

"The United States has completely provoked and unilaterally created the tense situation in the Taiwan Strait, and for this reason, the American side must bear full responsibility for the serious consequences," Wu Qian said.

He noted that China had previously expressed its stance on the relations between Beijing and Washington, and both countries' armed forces, as well as comments regarding the Taiwan issue, were made in connection with the visit of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives.

"China's corresponding countermeasures have become a necessary warning in response to US and Taiwan provocation, and the protection of state sovereignty and security is completely justified and appropriate," he emphasized.

Wu Qian added that "on one hand, the US creates crises, while on the other, it repeats the necessity to control and manage them, seeking justification and cover for its erroneous statements and actions, its provocations. They even create public hype, distort facts, and attempt to shift responsibility; China is resolutely opposed to this."
