The Identity of the Contract Soldier Who Died Suddenly Is Revealed

On August 7, a contract soldier of the Ministry of Defense’s N military unit, Private Arshaluis Vrami Hovhannisyan, passed away suddenly. He was from the town of Vardenis in the Gegharkunik region. He was married and had one underage son.

In an interview with NEWS.am, a relative of Arshaluis Hovhannisyan shared that he had been in service for over 15 years and had participated in the 44-day war. “He had gone on duty a few days ago. Before he left, he was experiencing high blood pressure and rapid heartbeats, but his condition had stabilized. However, we do not know what happened there. Arshaluis woke up during the night and then went back to sleep. As he was a cook, he was supposed to wake up early, but they woke him up and found that he had passed away,” said the relative.

Earlier reports indicated that on August 7, contract soldier Private Arshaluis Vrami Hovhannisyan (born in 1976) had died suddenly. A forensic examination has been appointed to determine the cause of death.
