Son Pushes Father During Argument, Resulting in Death

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case within the Shengavit Division of the Yerevan Investigative Department regarding a killing that took place on August 6 in Yerevan.

On that day, around 9:00 PM, the police’s operational management center received information about a body being found in one of the apartments at 2/A Shiraz Street. According to shamshyan.com, police and investigators established that an argument had occurred that same day between 48-year-old Arman E. and 74-year-old Vardan E. During the dispute, Arman E. pushed Vardan E., who fell and hit his head on the couch, resulting in his immediate death.

Officers located Arman E. in the Victory neighborhood. According to Shamshyan's sources, the arrested individual is the son of the deceased.
