Smartphones, Daily Photos: Discovery by Military Police

The Military Police of the Republic of Armenia has carried out extensive operations, resulting in the identification and transfer of several conscript and contract servicemen of the RA Armed Forces to Military Police divisions. These servicemen, in violation of the RA Ministry of Defense's order No. X, used smartphones to upload photos from daily military service to the internet. This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense of RA.

The servicemen have been subjected to disciplinary action. The Ministry of Defense is committed to preventing such incidents in the future and will hold negligent servicemen accountable.
