Leak of Azerbaijani Language Test Puts Georgia's Ministry of Education in Major Scandal
According to the Georgian opposition media outlet TV Pirveli, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has found itself embroiled in a major scandal. Reports indicate that the Azerbaijani language proficiency test for applicants was leaked in advance, allowing candidates to know the contents before the exam.
The report highlighted that this year has seen unprecedentedly high scores among Azerbaijani candidates. In interviews with TV Pirveli, students from Marneuli noted that there was an unprecedented uniformity in scores during the examinations, as they claimed that lower-performing candidates managed to achieve unexpectedly high marks.
Neither the Ministry of Education nor the National Assessment and Examination Center has officially commented on the situation so far.
