Russian Journalist Arrested in Kosovo Released

The journalist from "Komsomolskaya Pravda," Darya Aslamova, who was previously arrested in Kosovo, has been released. Aslamova established contact with the newspaper's editorial office and reported her release.

The journalist informed the editorial office that the authorities in Kosovo had freed her on the night of August 7. Following her release, she independently reached the Serbian-Kosovan border.

She is currently in the city of Raška, Serbia. "I arrived at the border at four in the morning. Serbian border guards also questioned me. They wanted to know why there was no deportation stamp," the newspaper quoted Aslamova's words.

Aslamova is in touch with the Russian Embassy in Serbia. The arrest of journalist Aslamova was announced on Sunday night by the head of Kosovo's Interior Ministry, Xhavit Shala. He stated that Aslamova is suspected of espionage amidst escalating tensions in Kosovo.
