Young Man Wounded in Loud Gunfire Incident in Aparan Has Died

Samvel Sandroyan, who was wounded in the controversial gunfire incident in Aparan and subsequently taken to Armenia Medical Center, has died. The information was confirmed to Sputnik Armenia by Ashot Kurghinyan, the deputy chief surgeon of the medical center.

"He never regained consciousness. He was in a coma," Kurghinyan said. It is noted that he had sustained injuries to the head.

Recall that immediately after the incident in the Aragatsotn region, rumors circulated that a dispute had broken out between a group of young people and relatives of MP Matevos Asatryan and Deputy Governor Edgar Parvanyan over insults directed at Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Later, the police announced that the incident did not have a political context.
