The European Union Appeals to Armenia and Azerbaijan

The European Union calls for the immediate cessation of hostilities between Azerbaijani and Armenian forces in the Lachin corridor and other areas along the contact line. This is stated on the official EU website.

“Unfortunately, these clashes have already resulted in human losses and injuries. It is crucial to de-escalate tensions, fully respect the ceasefire, and return to the negotiation table to seek solutions through dialogue,” the statement reads.

The European Union has expressed its willingness to help overcome tensions and continue its engagement in the South Caucasus for lasting peace and stability.
