Azerbaijan Reports Casualty

On the morning of August 3, Azerbaijani soldier Kazimov Anar Rustam oglu died from gunshot wounds. Azerbaijani news outlets report that the soldier sustained the injury at one of the positions located in the Lachin region.

It is noteworthy that representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have created a tense situation at the border for several days now.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced that on August 2 and the night of August 3, there were no changes in the operational and tactical situation.

Tensions continue to persist in certain areas along the contact line. Efforts to de-escalate the situation and prevent further exacerbations are ongoing by the leadership of the Republic, the command of the Defense Army, and the Russian peacekeeping forces.
