Wind Causes Damage in Yerevan

On July 31, at 22:04, the Crisis Management National Center received a call reporting that a branch of a tree had broken and fallen onto electric wires in front of building number 7 on Kajaznuni Street, posing a danger of falling. Assistance from rescue teams was required. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan Rescue Division of the Ministry responded to the scene. It was found that a branch had fallen onto internet connection wires in the yard of building number 7 on E. Kocharyan Street. The rescuers removed the branch from the wires.

Earlier on July 31, at 20:40, the Crisis Management National Center received a report that a tree had fallen onto the roadway near building number 3 on the 4th crossroad of Avanesov Street, damaging a pole and electric wires; assistance from rescue teams was required. A firefighting and rescue team also responded to this incident.

It was determined that the branches had fallen onto a Honda Fit vehicle. Rescuers removed the branches from the car and the roadway.

Additionally, on July 31 at 20:18, another call was made to the Crisis Management National Center, this time concerning a tree threatening to fall near building number 7 on Khaghagh Don Street, necessitating rescue assistance. Once again, a firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene and removed the tree from the roadway.
