Passenger Dies on Plane that Made Emergency Landing

A passenger on an El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Moscow has died of a heart attack. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Pasha Kesemensky, head of the press service of Azerbaijan Airlines.

As previously reported by Israeli television's Channel 14, today the El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Moscow signaled an emergency and requested a rapid landing in Baku due to a health issue concerning one of the passengers.

"The captain of El Al Israel Airlines, operating the Tel Aviv-Moscow (DME) flight, requested an emergency landing at Baku International Airport due to the sudden deterioration of a passenger's health (heart attack). The aircraft landed at Baku Airport at 12:44 local time," he stated.

Unfortunately, the passenger passed away during the flight.
