Minister's Spokesperson on Armenian Peacekeepers in Kosovo

Armenian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out their mission in Kosovo. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Aram Torosyan, in an interview with Sputnik Armenia, commenting on the situation in the region.

"The Armenian peacekeeping contingent in Kosovo continues to execute its mission according to the plan set before it," noted Torosyan.

It is worth mentioning that the authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo postponed for a month the ban on vehicles and individuals with Serbian license plates and documents following a call from the United States. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, in a message to citizens on July 31, stated that at midnight on August 1, the self-proclaimed Kosovo police would begin operations in the north of the region and would block the entry of citizens whose personal documents were issued by Serbia.
