Former Chief Prosecutor's Health Has Significantly Deteriorated
The former Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Aghvan Hovsepyan, has had a sharp decline in health, as reported by his lawyer, Erik Aleksanyan.
A petition has been submitted to the court to convene an urgent hearing regarding the case of Aghvan Hovsepyan, who previously headed the Investigative Committee. According to Aleksanyan, Hovsepyan's health condition has severely worsened at the Izmirlian Medical Center.
"The glucose level in Aghvan Hovsepyan's blood rose to 31.6 mmol/l, which could potentially recur. Doctors have given a professional opinion stating that Hovsepyan is facing chronic complications arising from diabetes decompensation, with a high probability of the glucose level rising again, potentially reaching 31 mmol/l or more. This condition poses a serious risk of coma, which is critically dangerous for a person's health and life. Given this situation, we have submitted a request to the court to reconsider the measure of restraint in Hovsepyan's case due to his health condition," Aleksanyan wrote on his Facebook page.
