Aircraft Signals Emergency and Requests Emergency Landing in Baku

Today, August 1, an El Al airline flight from Tel Aviv to Moscow issued a distress signal and requested an emergency landing in Baku due to health issues concerning one of the passengers, reported Israel's Channel 14.

According to the publication, the passenger aircraft LY611, which departed from Ben Gurion Airport for Moscow, signaled an emergency while in Azerbaijani airspace. The crew intends to land in Baku.
