41-Year-Old Intoxicated Driver Crashes Nissan into Parked Opel in Yerevan, 3 Children Among 4 Injured
On July 29, an accident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 17:40, 41-year-old Vigen Hovhannisyan, a resident of Yerevan, crashed his Nissan vehicle into a parked Opel owned by 29-year-old Tigran Aleksanyan, on Tigran Petrosyan Street in the Davitashen neighborhood.
According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the crash, passengers in the Nissan, including 36-year-old Armenouhi Nazaryan, 9-year-old Melanya Kh., 6-year-old Ruben Kh., and 11-year-old Koryun H., were taken to the 'Surp Astvatsamayr' Medical Center with bodily injuries.
Following the collision, one of the vehicles was pushed off the roadway and ended up in a green area. Officers from the Patrol Service of the Yerevan Police arrived at the accident scene to cordon off the area.
The drivers were subjected to sobriety tests, which revealed that the driver of the Nissan was intoxicated (at the highest level of impairment).
