Passenger Car Trapped Under Truck: Major Accident in Yerevan

On July 29, at 01:32, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident on Shiraki Street in Yerevan, indicating that a citizen was trapped.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two fire and rescue units from the Yerevan rescue department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a Mercedes truck (driver: Z.D.) collided with a Mercedes passenger car (driver: H.K., born in 1985).

Rescuers managed to extricate the driver of the passenger car from the wreckage and transported him on a stretcher to an ambulance. The injured individual was hospitalized at Erebuni Medical Center.

The rescuers also disconnected the passenger car's battery and closed the gas cylinder valve.
