My Brother Jeyhun Expressed Satisfaction with the Meeting during the Phone Call: Cavusoglu
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu addressed regional issues during a press conference following a meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Ilya Darchiashvili, as reported by ermenihaber.am.
Cavusoglu noted that during his meeting with his Georgian counterpart, in addition to bilateral relations, regional issues were also discussed, such as the situation in Ukraine and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Turkish Foreign Minister specifically stated, “Georgia organized the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tbilisi, for which I congratulate them. During my phone call with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, my brother Jeyhun expressed satisfaction with these visits and meetings.”
Cavusoglu also mentioned that the 3+3 format has not yet materialized, as Georgia is absent. Nevertheless, there are collective efforts, and the common goal is to establish lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
