23-Year-Old Jumps from Kyiv Bridge

Today, on July 29, around 18:00, a report was received by the 9-11 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the duty section of the Mashtots police division that a citizen had jumped from the Kyiv Bridge.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Mashtots police division arrived at the scene, led by Deputy Head of the Operational Division Arkadi Sahakyan and Head of the Criminal Investigation Department Gevorg Poghosyan.

While the investigators were examining the scene, officers from the criminal investigation division of the Mashtots police established, based on operational data, that the deceased was 23-year-old Artyom V, a resident of Yerevan.

A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative division of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts. Based on the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been appointed.
