Video: Protesters in the Netherlands Start BBQing on the Highway, Blocking Traffic

Dutch protesters have organized a barbecue on the highway, completely blocking traffic, according to Readovka. It is reported that a group of farmers from the Netherlands have closed the highway connecting the villages of Weerden and the city of Enschede. In response to a police request to clear the road, protesters decided to grill meat and vegetables and eat right on the highway.

The farmers claim that soon they will need to attract more protesters' attention.

Previously, Dutch farmers opposing government policies have blocked several highways and roads in central and eastern Netherlands with hay, dumped manure and garbage on roads, and even started bonfires along the highway.
