Accident Involving Gold-Plated Mercedes G500 in Yerevan

Today, July 28, a serious traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 2:30 AM, in the intersection of Khanzhyan, Tigran Mets, and Agatangeghos streets, a Mercedes G500 driven by 31-year-old Gevorg Mirzoyan collided with a Nissan driven by 39-year-old Melik Gabrielyan from Abovyan, near the Ayrarat market.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan reporting from the scene, the driver of the Nissan was first assisted by Mercedes driver G. Mirzoyan and was subsequently transported to the number 1 university hospital for medical assistance.

An investigation has been initiated by M. Muradyan regarding the accident. The driver of the Mercedes was subjected to a sobriety test at the scene, proving to be sober. However, the sobriety level of the Nissan driver could not be determined as he was taken to the hospital.

Shortly after the accident, the driver of the Mercedes also sought assistance at the number 1 university hospital. According to preliminary information, the Nissan driver is considered to be at fault for the accident. While traveling from Agatangeghos street toward Tigran Mets, he should have either turned left or right but drove straight, creating a hazardous situation for other drivers, which led to the accident.
