Car Crashes Through Bridge Barrier and Ends Up on Road Below; One Injured

Today, on July 27, an accident occurred in the Armavir region. At approximately 08:50 AM, on the 16.5 km section of the Yerevan-Armavir highway, in the Zvartnots administrative area, cars driven by 34-year-old Gevorg Khachatryan (Nissan Teana) and 31-year-old Davit Shirvanyan (Nissan Versa) collided.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, one person was transported to Vagarshapat Medical Center. The doctors at the center acted promptly, providing first aid to the injured person before transferring them to the hospital. The police and investigative department are determining the identity of the injured.

The site reports that following the collision, the Nissan Teana veered off the roadway, crashed into the iron barrier of the bridge, broke it, and after traveling about 20 meters, ended up on the road below the bridge. Representatives from insurance companies also arrived quickly at the scene.
